Summer Bucket List...Day Date 3, Walking the Lindon Marina trail...There's some cool birds out there.

Right before the entrance to the Lindon Marina,
there is a bike trail, and also a walking trail.
The walking trail is all gravel stone, and not that
comfortable to walk on, but it has some pretty views
and you can see some of the different birds that live
around the lake.

There are frogs in this area too, we've
heard them jump in the water often,
but have not seen one yet.

There are tons of Yellow Headed Black Birds flying around.

A group of Double Crested Cormorants.

A pretty view of the mountains, they still have a little snow on them.

A male and female Mallard Duck.
I love it when I see the Pelicans.

There is a field right by the entrance to the Marina with some
beautiful horses.

There is a little cove at the marina where they keep
boats with a  little sandy beach.  We like to sit
here and watch the people put their boats in and you
can also see fish jump too.

I love to watch the birds here. This is a Western Grebe.
This has become one of our weekly get spots to visit.
It's just a nice place to spend a few hours slowing the pace of life down.
Do you have a place you go to where you leave your electronics behind
and just relax and slow down?
