Rest in Peace, Camera

Hello, Family and friends! Elder Bowlby here.

This week, my camera kicked the bucket. There's a giant dead-pixel hole in the screen, the buttons don't function well, and the mini-speaker fails to sound... so I can oficially say that the camera has had it's run.

This week went well. We did a lot of work, and we're getting along great. We're seeing little miracles here and there! Our hard work is paying off.

We're also working on being more obedient to the rules. Getting up on time, going to bed on time... staying alive! Staying alive!

Here's a mini-miracle... We were looking for a church-investigator Sunday morning before the service started... and we didn't find him. But in the walk to find him, we found a partially member family! The father is member, but his wife and mother-in-law weren't, so we invited them to the church service! They came and saw how the reunions were. We're going to be passing by and teaching them!

Here's a recent study topic of mine: The introduction to the Book of Mormon (Specifically these last two paragraphs):

We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true. Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost. (See Moroni 10:3–5.)

Those who gain this divine witness from the Holy Spirit will also come to know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that Joseph Smith is His revelator and prophet in these last days, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the Second Coming of the Messiah.

I haven't highlighted anything here because you can highlight something that calls your attention. This is something we share often with the many people we teach. If you read the Book of Mormon, ponder it's message, and then, ask God if it's true or not, he will answer you. He always does. It's a guarantee. I've done it too, and I know that the Book of Mormon is true.

I hope that you're all having a great week. Heaven is rooting for you! Stay strong! Keep praying, and do what you can to keep pushing forward!

Love you! Miss you loads! And see you soon.

We are quickly coming to the end of my sons mission.  I have a lot to do to prepare for him to come home.  Like clean out his room as I've been using it to store things in...
