I have spent the last 8 months exercising, and changing my diet. I’m one pound away from my weight loss goal.
It’s been a journey for sure. But I feel so much better now than I did when I started trying to lose the weight that I had gained in 2024.
I no longer eat candy, chips and most baked goods. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables and I have increased healthy proteins in my diet.
I get up most mornings at 5:30 and work out for about an hour. I do weight training and then ride an exercise bike.
Next year I hope to also do a bike ride in the evening after dinner.
My clothes fit better, I sleep better. I don’t crave sweets.
It’s work to lose weight, and I have to continue to do the work. But I also feel really good.
Hopefully when I go to the doctors in 2026, the changes I have made will make it so I am no longer pre diabetic.
