My son is going to be tiny apartment living
My son is leaving the nest to move into a tiny apartment.
It’s a hotel room that has been renovated to be a studio apartment.
He is excited to be on his own. I went shopping to get him some of the basic needs. And realized there is so much that you need when you live on your own.
I got him some dishes, frying pans, cooking utensils and mixing bowls. Hopefully he will be able to make a meal his first week in his new place.
He will be sleeping on a cot until he figures out what kind of bed he wants. Don’t think 🤔 that we didn’t offer him to take his bed. We did, but he has other plans.
He literally is starting with almost nothing. I will be blogging about this adventure.

A moment from my day.. prank phone calls still happen.
I remember when I was young sitting with friends calling people and doing prank phone calls. That’s what happens when young kids are left alone with a phone.
When a child does a prank phone call I get it. But then you get the strange man who has decided to call and say things that you really don’t want to hear.
The man who asks if you carry extra large condoms.
The man looking for extra area in the front of underwear.
The man who wants to tell you a story that he thinks will make you laugh. He had a bee 🐝 on his pants while mowing the lawn, so he took all his clothes off and ran around his yard with no clothes on.
I wonder if they got a man on the phone would they still ask these questions or do they wait for women?
I once thought I was getting a prank call, the person kept asking if we had spilt milk 🥛. So I finally hung up on them. Then a few days later I learned about the new product spylt milk, a caffeinated milk beverage.
Hope you enjoyed reading about this moment in my life.

Don’t let idiots ruin your day.
I found this cute drawing on Pinterest. I’m going to print it out and post it where I work.
We had an idiot come in at the end of my shift the other day. They wanted a manager because their order wasn’t brought to them and they had been waiting 30 minutes. I asked what order they were waiting for and they would not tell me.
Then they walked away and said they would get their order themselves. I called the online order manager over. But by then this person had already left.
Then they yelled at me saying “see it took me two minutes to get my order”. If you can’t communicate with people then don’t yell at them.
I needed this little saying that day.
Ah life in customer service it’s never boring.
