Life of a shop girl, the dread of selling credit cards.

If you work in retail, you need to read this comic book.
It’s true to the retail workplace struggles.

I worked for a store that the main goal each day was to sell credit cards.  You were always trying to beat how many you sold the year before.  You would be made to feel pathetic if you didn’t make that goal.
You were belittled by the corporate management.
But like the girl in the comic says “who needs another credit card.” I felt the company was a credit card company disguised as a retail store. People probably paid way more to them in credit card debt than for their original purchase.
So glad I left.

Shop girl.
