I love bar shampoo and conditioner!

I tried bar shampoo and conditioner a few 

Months ago and I love it.

I feel like I don’t waste as much shampoo and conditioner.

The shampoo lathers up with the first use.

I don’t go through as much conditioner.

I used to have tons of different bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Now I just have the two containers that hold the

Bar shampoo and conditioner.

My hair looks really nice too.

My monthly exercise goal was achieved!

 

In February I joined the beat the clock challenge.

There were 20 intermediate bike rides to do.

Despite crazy schedules, busy holidays and 

Sometimes feeling like I would rather rest than exercise. 

I finished the challenge and I am stronger for it.

Now to plan my March goals.

Hello stranger.. a fun romance novel

 I just finished this romance novel.  It was very interesting because you learn about face blindness.  Often at work I see so many people I think I have face blindness. But now I know that is not true.

I enjoyed this book, of course I love romance novels so that might be why. I’m sure I will read more by this author.

Looking for a newer car.

Since our daughter got into a

Car accident we have been looking 

At used cars today find a new car for her.

The first car we looked at, 

My husband would not even drive. So that meant 

He did not like it at all.

The second car we looked at today.

We took for a drive. He liked it, we want to try 

Some other cars before making a decision.

But it was cold and sleeting outside.

So maybe we will go back next week.

I Have a Holiday hangover! Here’s what I did Valentines week.

All last week I made Valentine’s Day 

Balloons.

Here is a photo of the balloons one of my coworkers 

Made. 

This balloon was very popular.

We sold all the ones we made. 

On Sunday I was exhausted.  I had a holiday hangover.

I did sell the most balloons in the company. We only had 38 balloons left by the end of the day. I still have to figure out how many balloons we made.

I’m focusing on reading Love is murder.  It’s my holiday themed book. Some of the books are daily quote books.

Day date 4, Bues pond and Farmington bay bird refuge.

 

Our 4th date was to Bues pond and the Farmington bay

bird refuge. 

I love going to Bues Pond because there are wood ducks 

that stay there all year. 

They are beautiful.

It was warm for January so we got to go on

Two nice walks.

Getting photos of water birds is easier than getting photos of the little birds like chickadees and spotted towhees.

Date 3, a walk at the Provo River Delta

 

We had to stay home in the morning to get our 

old couch taken from the house. 

So we decided to go for a walk at

the Provo river delta.

It never disappoints me to walk here,

We always see birds.

It was a pretty cold day, so we did not walk the

big loop. We did see

many different birds.

I think my favorite bird of the day was the common goldeneye.

January dates, date two a drive around Utah lake.

On date two of this year we drove around 

Utah Lake. We see lots of birds and animals on

this drive.

 

Jim likes to stop at this old gas station.

He likes to look at the old cars and read 

about the people who ran the gas station.

I like stopping and taking walks.

I also like to see all the different birds.

We also saw a new bird. That was exciting for me.

I hope at some point to make a life bird photography book.

We went to the mall after our drive and bought a new couch.

Then we went to Bobby’s Burgers. 

I expected it to be different. 

The burgers were ok. But not what I expected.

January day dates. Date one Antelope island.

 

I have been enjoying making photo

We went on 4 dates this month.

The first date was to Antelope island.

We bought our state park pass.

It was a nice day.

While I really love seeing birds,

It’s also fun to watch the bison and other animals.

It’s great to get out and have a weekly adventure.

One month of coloring finished.

 

I have a new weekly planner,

Each week has a coloring page.

I have been able to finish each coloring page.

It’s a nice way to relax each day.

Goodbye old car. The car wreck that finished our car.

 

Our daughter was in a car accident this Wednesday morning.

Thankfully she is doing well.  The car though is totaled. I think the person who hit her car had to be speeding. 

So I guess we really do have to find her a new car now.

The speed limit where she was driving is 35 miles an hour.

The truck that hit her had to be driving faster than that.

All the glass in the back of the car was shattered, the car was turned in the wrong direction. The tires were popped. The trunk was smashed in. 

Thankfully my daughter is ok. It was a very stressful morning.

Drive safely my friends.

One of my jobs is selling balloons.

 I work in guest services for a grocery store. One of the things I am in charge of is selling balloons.  I have been studying balloon sales for the last 9 years.  Last year they changed the company that we buy balloons from.  This was one of my struggles.  Dealing with this change and no one listening to my opinion.  My store sells the most balloons in the company.

This year I am keeping a photo journal of the balloons we display and watching how they sell. This is the way the new balloon company wants us to display our balloons. They think customers will understand that they are supposed to group all the similar balloons together to make their own bouquet of balloons. 

What I find is happening is the customers buy just one balloon from the display. 

I took these photos last week.  We reset our balloon wall, so now we have all the new companies balloons out. And we sold in the first week of setting out balloons about 8 balloons from the display areas. The nice thing is that the bigger 12.99 balloons are the ones selling. Most of our balloon sales actually happen with customers coming to guests services and ordering large balloon bouquets. Saturday is usually our busiest day for balloon sales. 

There are lots of birthday celebrations on Saturdays.

Daily sip book quote..

 I’m reading these books called the daily sip.  This quote went with my word of the year “flow”.  I’m trying hard to not think or worry about the changes that could come.  To be greatful for the present moment.  To adjust to the changes and be positive.
