Garden Walk Week 28. There are only a few weeks left to walk the gardens.

I only have a few weeks left to walk the gardens.

I'm starting to plan what I am going to do this winter.

I think I am going to do a winter cleaning of my house.  

I'm hoping that during the time that I'm a bit more stuck in my house that

I can get everything cleaned.  So when spring and summer come I can just

go places and see things.

I love these orange berries.

I like the fall flowers, but still as I've said multiple times

I'm not ready for fall, I'm not ready for the changes of the seasons.

They are starting to plant the tulip bulbs for next years tulip festival.

Once they plant the bulbs they place other plants above them.

Here is a section where they are planting the tulips.

There are still some beautiful roses in the rose garden.

There are still some bees in the garden.

Are you planning to do anything this winter.

I want to de-clutter my house. Get things organized.

I also want to find some indoor adventures to do.

We are going to a play at the Hale Centre Theatre.  I'm really excited to go.

I liked how this leaf was lit by the sun. 

The secret garden is still very pretty. 

I love to capture flowers with the sun lighting them up. 

I think that is my favorite type of photo.

I wonder if other people who love photography have 

a favorite way to photograph things. 

I have to say I love instagram because I love

to see how people photograph things.

It gives me ideas on how to become better.

Another favorite way to photograph a flower. I have not done 

any editing to this photo. 

I like the fuzzy grass.

Garden walk Week 27. An afternoon walk with my husband.

With all the flowers at the gardens you would think

you would see more butterflies.  I don't see them that often 

so I was glad to get a photo of this one. 

I had to chase it for awhile before it finally stayed in one place long enough for me to 

get a good photo of it.

They have put Mums all over the gardens.

I really like these purple and white ones.

This Dahlia has such beautiful fall coloring. 

When I walk with other people I don't take as many photos. 

I have really loved the changes in the secret garden this year.

Everything is pointing to fall and I am not ready for it.

I really am not ready for cold weather.

Wandering the gardens with my husband was nice.

I'm not sure why we have not done this walk more, I think maybe 

that when we both have time off I want to find new places instead of

going to a place I visit every week.

Exploring Utah the Young Living Fall Festival. Horse Shows, Jousting and much more.

My Husband and I had a great time at the Young Living Fall Festival.

If you live in Utah and have not gone to this yearly event I would advise you 

to go next year. 

This photo got the most likes on my instagram page. 

I really love it, the man looking at the horse.

My husband is 6feet 2 inches tall so that should give you 

some perspective on how tall the horse is.

This is the view from the horse areana.  So beautiful.

I used to ride horses, but I don't think

I would be able to jump on them and do tricks.

I believe the Young Living Percherons are the world

champion in the draft horse show circuit.

This is called a Unicorn hitch.

I really liked this farms horses.

Jousting is something that I have always wanted to see.

Probably because I loved the movie "A Knights Tale."

We talked to one of the men who run the jousting and he said

the arena is modeled after the movie "A Knights Tale".

This horse was a giant horse. I think his name was Goliath.

They had all types of entertainment along with the jousting.

People who performed with fire,

People juggling items, even sharp knives.

I loved hearing the bagpipes.

This Fire Breathing Lady was cool.

The Jousting was fun to watch. 

I know I will want to go again next year!

So what happens when you let the magician take your photo?

He puts a selfie on your phone. LOL.

We also got to go on a wagon ride. It cost about $15.00 a person and

for all the things that you can do during the day I think it is worth it.

They had live music all day, axe throwing, carriage rides, pony rides,

the draft horse show, the jousting , a concert and a rodeo. 

That's a full day of fun!
