Fall is wonderful when it is warm out. Not so wonderful when it
starts to get cold. I'm sad that the cold weather is heading our way.
I don't do well walking in the cold, I'm thinking of looking for
a really warm pair of winter boots. With the pandemic I
think the only good escape from the world is a nice nature walk.
I love seeing all the wild life and being where you don't have to
wear a facemask.
This is the full Halloween moon.
My daughter and I sat and watched it rise Halloween night.
Our new favorite walk is in the American Fork Canyon.
We love to walk by the Bridal Veil falls.
It's nice to listen to the water rushing by.
We tried to do some selfie photos. We have some work do
to figure them out. We got a good laugh out of it though.
We have had snow already this fall and next week
there is more to come.
We took time to stop and look for fish.
We actually saw a few which was fun.
I don't know, I just like the look of the dead grass.
I'm thinking these are wild blue berries.
I can't believe it is November. We have
decided to not do take out this month.
At the beginning of the pandemic my stress food
was Swiss rolls and soda. Then I got on the scale and knew
I needed to eat better. I haven't had either since April.
We have eaten out way too much though.
So as much as we love Mcdonalds
we are taking a break. I have been making
a different soup every week, hope to share the recipes soon.
I'm trying to eat more fruits and veggies instead of sugar treats.
I am still doing lots of exercising and I have joined another
virtual race.

Hear are the falls. The leaves are no longer
looking pretty, and I believe there was some snow near them.
